Airbus is looking for a Wind Tunnel Test Leader (f/m) to join our Flight Physics / Aerodynamics department based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing aerodynamic modeling for Airbus aircraft. As part of the Wind Tunnel Technology team, you will be involved in leading wind tunnel test campaigns aiming at integrating experimental test data with digital tools and advancing measurement techniques.

Your challenges:

• Initiate and frame wind tunnel test projects by gathering and synthesizing customer requirements.
• Produce model specifications and test programme documentation in collaboration with model design teams.
• Establish costings, create project plans, and coordinate multi-functional teams and external suppliers.
• Lead test campaigns on-site and abroad while validating experimental data from start to finish.
• Deliver final test reports and lead post-test reviews to capture lessons learned.
• This position requires business travel, mainly within Europe (approximately 15-20% of the time).

Your boarding pass:

• Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent experience in an aerodynamics-related field.
• Knowledge of wind tunnel measurement techniques and data analysis methodology.
• Understanding of project management tools and techniques.
• Proficiency in digital tools and integration of test data with CFD/flight test data.
• Negotiation level of English.
